Lala: Guys, have you heard about Desi? She got accident yesterday.
Eraz: What? No, I haven't hear anything about it.
Lia: Oh, Ajeng told me just now, why don't we pay her a visit?
Eraz: That's wonderful
Lala: I would love too. But my dad drove me to school. Do you think I can go with you Lia?
Lia: Of course you can. I'm pleased to do that.

At Desi's House
Lala: How is it Des? Are you okay?
Desi: I'm not very well. It hurts so much!
Lia: Which part is getting injured?
Desi: They are every where. On my right shoulder, right elbow, right hand, right foot, but the worst is my right side.
Eraz: Oh I'm so sorry to hear that Des.
Lala: How can you got the accident?
Desi: Well, when I would turn right to get back to the other way, suddenly a motorcycle hit from the back. That's all I know.
Lia; Oh, Thank God for helping you.
Eraz: I hope you get well soon Desi
Lala: I think we should go home now, we have a chemistry course after this.
Desi: Oh, that's alright, thanks for visiting me today.
Lia; That's okay I'm happy that you are fine Desi.
Lala: Well I'll see you soon at school, I guess?

FOXIE'S LOVE

Once upon a time, there lived a pretty girl from a mysterious noble family, named Foxie Lott. She lived in a big village with her parents, her brother, and her sister. She loved her family too much. But, there’s something happened that made Foxie mad.

It happened when Foxie was 17^th years old. Her family told her the entire story about an important secret of her family, that she was a descendant of fox-man. Her daddy said, “You will become a fox-man when you are 17^th years old, and it’s the time. We’re really sorry, honey. It’s very hard for us to tell this”. “I know you mad, honey. But, you have to know it”, said her mother in a heavy voice.

Foxie couldn’t restrain her anger. She ran and ran away from home with tears that overflowed. She never stopped running until she reached the summit of a mountain. She was crying uncontrollably until finally she fell asleep from exhaustion. When she was sleeping, a vampire approached her and would pounced her. Suddenly, a wolf came and attacked the vampire and then saved Foxie.

Next morning, when Foxie awoke. She was shocked to see wolves that surrounded her. She was more surprised when one of them turned into a human. She’s frightened and said, “Who you are”?! Then, the other wolves are also turned into humans. She’s more frightened.

One of them named Danny. He said to Foxie that she would attacked by an evil vampire, and he was the wolf that saved Foxie last night. He wanted his debts because he had been helped by Foxie’s father. He asked, “Why did you get here”? So, Foxie told him what had happened to her. Danny advised and drove her home.

When they arrived at Foxie’s home, they saw Foxie’s family being attacked by vampires. Foxie was scared. She asked Danny to help her. Then, Danny roared very loud and turned into a wolf. Shortly, came the other wolves and they attacked the vampires. The fight lasted so long until Danny finally slumped with wounds all over his body. Seeing what was happening, Foxie attacked vampires and suddenly she turned into a fox and killed the vampires ferociously. They looked at Foxie in disbelief.

She back into a human. Then, she stopped and saw vampires lying nearby. She didn’t believe that she could do it all. Then she walked over to her family and hugged them. She also thanked to the wolves that had helped her, especially Danny.

Next day, Foxie and her family visited Danny’s home to thank Danny. Danny revealed all his feelings to Foxie. He requested permission from Pixie’s parents to marry their daughter. Foxie’s parents agreed his willing. So, Danny and Foxie married and lived happily

Cap Go Meh

Chinese new year comes from the tradition of Chinese people. Every new year, they thank to God for the harvest result before and hope that they will get a better result in the next harvest season.

In West Borneo, Chinese people express their thankfulness with a lot of fireworks all-day long. They visit their relatives and give 'ang pao' for their nephews or children. Ang pao is a red envelope that contain with some amount of money.

Chinese new year celebrated in 15 days. on the 15th day, there is a special event held by the chinese people. The event is called 'Cap Go Meh'. They celebrate this last day in a different way than the days before.

Chinese people believe with Cap Go Meh, they can avoid unlucky things that will come in the future. To expel evil spirit and negation of unlucky things, it is symbolized with tatung shows. Tatung is the people who possesed by spirit. When they are posses, they usually do some attraction which is full of mystical things and tighten situation.

In the attraction of tatung that is possesed by spirit of the death people, they are acting weird and out of ordinary. Some of them can step-on a sharp sword or knife, some of them can implant steel wire into their right cheek breakthrough the left cheek. Surprisingly, there are no injury or scratches left on their bodies.

The ceremony to call spirits is lead by priest, which is deliberate to call the spirits. They are believe that the spirits are the heroic people in Chinese legend, so the spirits could defeat the evil spirits that will disturb the harmony of the citizen life. The spirit which is called could posses anyone. It depends on the people, are they fulfill the requirements in the step of become tatung which is determined by the priest. or not.
There are also dragon and lion dance parade on that day. They all usually perform at the same place. A lot of people come to see their performance, not only the Chinese, but also Dayaknese, Malay, or even tourist from the western. Cap Go Meh is the center of attention on that day. Because this is just once in a year event and its unforgetable.

Bring It Wherever I Go

On this post, i will describe one of my favorite thing, Play Station Portable or PSP. i have this stuff since im on the fifth grade, which means about five or six years ago.

Its a multimedia gadget. basically, its just like the other playstation, to play games. but, it has another feature such as music player, video player, picture application, ant it has an internet browser in it with wi-fi connection.

I usually play the games when im bored. my favorite games are the sims 3, indiana jones advanture, and1 streetball, and others. when i lay on my bed and there's nothing to do, i usually listen to music from this stuff too.

Every single day, i always bring this stuff wherever i go. somehow i know its useful to kill the boredom :)

Mine is pink, with 2GB memory card and universal media disc. there are some button on it such as select button, home button, volume button and others. there are 4 speakers on it, so its not too bad to hear the music without ear-phones.

First of all, this is my very first write on blog. i never have this kind of account before, so let me introduce my self first.

i am zania nissa destriany, just call me desi ;)

almost 17 yo by the end of the year, 8 december exactly, in pontianak. im member of SILVESTER (Smansa Eleven Science Three). that name was made by me, btw. *proud*

ummmm, then what? well i love to watch movies, play basketball and read some fantasy books such as harry potter, lord of the ring, eragon etc. Thats all.

Purpose in study english?

i want to study abroad, so there's no way im not study english. beside, everyone know english as secondary language. if someday i could overseas, what will i become if cant speak english? so i have my plan to increase my listening and speaking skill. how to do it? by watching a lot of western movies, is one of them. thats my favorite stuff how to study english. you should try it too :D

Hopes in study english?

getting a good score on TOEFL, so i could use it as a plus score i have to apply my scolarship somewhere. yeah, i have my dream, me being somewhere in germany or united state or britain in architecture degree. meeting a lot of different person with different languages will be exciting!
